This item is not made in the USA, as the item's description states.I bought this item instead of others specifically because the seller claims that it is USA made.It is actually a Chinese made Reed & Barton jewelry chest, MSRP probably $180.Other than that error on the seller's part, this is a nice jewelry chest: good (though not flawless) finish, nice interior, decent craftmanship.

Handcrafted poplar hardwood with Mahogany finish & soft burgundy velvet interior. Necklace hooks with necklace pouch in lid to secure necklaces when cover is closed. Antiqued brass-finished side tray lifts and drawer pulls. Top Drawer features three divided compartments and one long compartment to accommodate necklaces, bracelets and watches. Bottom drawer lined with twelve individual compartments for earrings, pins and broaches. Lift-out tray has 2 partitions and ring bars. Well below lift out tray with four individual compartments.
