This was exactly as described.I was able to store all my jewelry in a very organized manner.I added a covered piece of styrofoam to store more earrings which works great for stud earrings.I was able to easily hang the mirror using hangers (which I had around the house) more appropriate for dry wall.It is very stable and easy to open and see all my jewelry.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. I wanted to get him something to keep his watches, cufflinks, etc in, but I wanted it to still look "man-ly." He loved it. It's good quality wood and comes with the paperwork to have a plaque engraved. Although, for the price, they could have included the price of the engraving instead of having to send in another $12.50. All in all, a good buy.

I bought this as a gift for my daughter and when she opened it, the first thing she noticed was that the two hide away little drawers were swapped, thus the assembly of the two were done wrong and we can't fix it since there is a tiny screw that is hidden inside so that the drawers cannot fall out.She doesn't want me to send it back since it was for her birthday.She turned 6. She likes it, but tells everyone else that the drawers are wrong.

I was looking for a solution for my mom's tangled jewelry, kept in about a dozen cardboard jewelry boxes, when I came upon this item. The color is just as gorgeous as it is in the picture, and there are a lot of compartments for every piece of jewelry conceivable. My mom loves it, and I'm planning to get a few of the smaller ones, from the same manufacturer, for Christmas presents next year.

Be warned though, that this jewelry box is quite big. It's about the size of a small stereo.

I received this for a Christmas Gift. I absolutely adore this sueded fabric jewelry box. It's not very big, so if you have a lot of jewelry, this box is probablytoo small for you.

Mine is the "camel" colored box, not the black that is shown above. I believe it is also sold in red.

It feels incredibly solid and has a good weight to it for the size. The mirror is great also.

I must say, this is an insane deal for the quality box that you get. Great for a teenager or for any age woman.

This serves the purpose and nothing more.When I first received it, I tried to change the combination on the lock (per the instructions) only to have the lever you push get stuck so couldn't change the combination or close the case.My husband finally got it free, but it is still very hard to open.If I was a jewelry sales person, I would not use this case to display my wares.It looks nothing like faux leather, more like plastic-embossed covered cardboard.The only redeeming factors are that the necklace loops actually keep your necklaces untangled and there is a lot of space in the bottom to store unusually shaped jewelry.

Review of Red Star Vienna in Ash Burl Jewelry Box

I bought this box for my girlfriend's birthday -- she loves it. The fit and finish are gorgeous -- it's a beautiful design that fits well in a range of decors -- it would be equally at home in environments from ultra-modern to shabby chic, to Asian and Americana. Overall, it's a restrained, tasteful design with elegant touches, without being overly gaudy or blingy. The depth of finish is really amazing, and should keep it looking great for decades, even if you keep it in a damp environment.

My only slight beef is that it's not a perfectly efficient storage place -- it doesn't hold as much jewelry as you would think looking at it's large size. Not that it doesn't hold a lot, but there is quite a bit of wasted space.

Still, it's a gorgeous piece, and will keep your jewelry collection safe and clean. Highly recommended!

Review of Heart Shaped Pewter Jewelry Box

I ordered this jewelry box on the 21st, along with a couple other items, they just arrived earlier today, on the 24th. I'm perfectly satisfied with my purchase.

The detailing on the exterior of the box is lovely. The little heart on the center of the lid and the hinge at the back are lacquered, which makes it look shiny and better than what you see here on this picture. The inside is entirely lined with black velvet. The box is sturdy, well made, and as mentioned by other reviewers, is of a nice weight. You can fit a few necklaces and rings in it, although it's definitely not big enough for a bangle bracelet. The box itself is a nice decoration piece. And the price is great. I love it!

I received this egg as a birthday gift because I wanted a pretty place to store my E-ring and wedding band. The egg is so pretty and the magnetic closure is strong. And because we are military, they even threw some little gifts in the box for my daughter with a sweet note thanking us for our service. Very nice! My only issue with it is that I wanted it to store my rings and the ring insert is broken. :<(
We live overseas so sending it back is bothersome. If onlythey would send me a new ring insert, I would be so happy! The cardboard came to me unglued, it had a white slit on the side of it , the spongy part was ripped and it just didn't work. :<(
If I wasn't using for ring storage, I would have been happy with it the way it was.

I use this box for keeping handy "minor" items like my file drawer key, etc.I wouldn't characterize it as a very "safe" box for valuables, but for my purposes of keeping out inquisitive kids and nosey babysitters it's fine.The knob is made of plastic, the locking tab is a pretty thin piece of metal.I read another reviewer's difficulty programming the electronic lock -- that may be because the printed pamphlet instructions were incorrect it seemed.It directed the user to input the code then wait a few seconds, when in fact the proper directions (printed on a sticker on the underside of the lid) indicated you input the code twice in a row.

Amazing and beautiful box. I bought this jewlery box for my step daughters 12th birthday. SHe loved it. And it gave me an opportunity sharemy asian background with her. It is very beautiful and danity. The wood looks great and the jade detail on top it magnificant. My only complaint would be is that my step daughter has trouble opening the lock. The box was delivered in a small box without any packing material as well - so there was a very tiny scratch on the back.

Like an Ikea store, this jewelry box makes well planned and good use of its space with thoughtful attention given to getting the most use value of its storage space. Each compartment has a job to do and has been strategically placed to reflect and accommodate most and diverse collections.The sides open to reveal 10 necklace hooks and necklaces actually stay put when you open and close them, unlike many top-storage jewelry boxes which leave your necklaces in a tangled heap.It folds up to a chic and mod-looking handled box, perfect for traveling if you needed to take the entire collection with you, but the small included travel case is the perfect addition and can be stored within the larger box or kept separate depending on your storage needs.The color is as shown in the image with a slightly marbled look to the soft leather.This is a jewelry box which somehow looks both modern and classic.It looks nice open for easy access or tidily closed.

The only drawbacks are that the earring storage "shelves" which slide into the top right square are clear plastic and fits small studs best; it would have been nicer if these were covered in the ivory fabric which lines the rest of the box.A few of the slide drawers, which have catches so they don't come flying out when you pull them, catch on some improperly sealed leather under the lip.This may be a defect in my individual model, or a larger production flaw in that the edges of the leather are not well sealed.I will try to fix this myself but it was not a large enough concern to return the model.If you have chunky necklaces (large stones or beads) the side necklace storage isn't a great option as the sides snap close to the main body of the box and probably wouldn't close.However, the bottom drawer has no dividers so this is an alternative solution.I have mostly small charm necklaces on thin chains which store easily on the sides and lie flat when closed.

Though I thought I had my heart set on a traditional wooden jewelry box, this one immediately won me over with its great and flexible use of space, ingenious design and beautiful red leather exterior.It's one I can't wait to pass down to my daughter some day.

When the box arrived I was a little surprised to see that it was smaller than I expected, but it didn't really matter.It arrived in what seemed like no time at all--just a couple of days and was well packed.It came in it's own cardboard box featuring the same artwork as the jewelry box--nice touch. The quality of this box was very good and the decorative artwork on the box was just wonderful. My niece, who is horse crazy to begin with, was thrilled when she recieved this jewelry box complete with horse themed jewelry. I received this a couple of years ago when I put it on my wish list, and just came across it again now and realized I never reviewed it! It's a great earring holder, just what I needed, and I also put some necklaces on it to. I bunch them up and hang them on the loops, but now I'm thinking about getting their necklace holder thingie too now that I have gotten a lot more necklaces over the years.

Review of Ballerina Lunch Box

My daughter loves this lunch box. We bought it because her soft shelled lunch boxes were getting food inside the lining. This one sometimes doesn't work if a container is too big, and the first day she used it, it came home covered in scratches. Despite this, it is cuter than the picture shows and really makes her feel like a princess. The only real complaint I have is that it scratches so easily. It is MUCH cleaner than the other lunch boxes.

Purchased as a gift and the music box did not work. The storage box is colorful and giraffe pops up when the box top opens. However, the box seens to be made of cardboard and cheap built. For the price and hassle it is not worth returning.
