Review of Red Star Vienna in Ash Burl Jewelry Box

I bought this box for my girlfriend's birthday -- she loves it. The fit and finish are gorgeous -- it's a beautiful design that fits well in a range of decors -- it would be equally at home in environments from ultra-modern to shabby chic, to Asian and Americana. Overall, it's a restrained, tasteful design with elegant touches, without being overly gaudy or blingy. The depth of finish is really amazing, and should keep it looking great for decades, even if you keep it in a damp environment.

My only slight beef is that it's not a perfectly efficient storage place -- it doesn't hold as much jewelry as you would think looking at it's large size. Not that it doesn't hold a lot, but there is quite a bit of wasted space.

Still, it's a gorgeous piece, and will keep your jewelry collection safe and clean. Highly recommended!
