When the box arrived I was a little surprised to see that it was smaller than I expected, but it didn't really matter.It arrived in what seemed like no time at all--just a couple of days and was well packed.It came in it's own cardboard box featuring the same artwork as the jewelry box--nice touch. The quality of this box was very good and the decorative artwork on the box was just wonderful. My niece, who is horse crazy to begin with, was thrilled when she recieved this jewelry box complete with horse themed jewelry. My sister told me that it turned out to be one of her favorite Christmas presents.
