I was concerned when i bought this box, it seemed to small to put anything sizable in and to big for a jewelry box.I needn't have worried, it is a beautiful box about 2 1/2 inches deep inside allowing for a wide range of 'Treasures' to be placed within it, my older sister 'Commandeered' it for her own use and has refused to give it back.
I bought one for my aunt and she uses it in the kitchen to hold spices (I would have thought the artwork on the inside would be detrimental but she seems to like it.)
It is a truly amazing piece of work for a great price.
